The annual contract is from October to May, so if you have school age children this aligns well with your family needs. The company culture is very collegial and free from curricula constraints due to school board contracts; teachers work together to continuously review curriculum and make improvements.

There is flexibility for teachers to create curriculum around each child's specific goals.

One to one instructors will always be a part time position, which might not be the best financial situation for some teachers. Schedules often fill up, but sometimes a teacher's schedule is at the mercy of the district/school assessments being completed and approved. So there might be some time with an uneven work day/week while waiting.
