Pros
- Competitive pay - Onboarding staff are just regular employees who volunteered to train, most of them are very helpful and knowledgeable. - Coworkers often have to support each other because managers won't, essentially trauma bonding, not sure if that's much of a "pro".
Cons
- Beware of FAKE REVIEWS written by Management, or other employees who were pressured into writing a positive review. You'll know it's them because the only Con they have listed is "not being able to connect with coworkers due to remote work" or "No cons at this time" or "fast-paced, but that's exciting!" or something along those lines. Just wow. - They reel you in with the pay and unlimited PTO, but the Care Support team doesn't get to enjoy that time off like other departments. - Care support team is essentially call center, which they do NOT advertise it as. - They offer unlimited PTO but won't let you actually take that time off due to "business needs". - Care Support team is expected to work Holidays, even though the job description says you get paid Holidays off. - Management is fake and uses scare tactics, micro management, toxic positivity, and favoritism. - Micro management to the HIGHEST degree, can't even take a bathroom break or be on a call 3 minutes longer than expected without 5 people messaging you and questioning you. - You're docked "points" for using your allotted sick time, or if you're not meeting their impossible metrics. - Very numbers oriented, it's all about metrics that they raise every few weeks. They are impossible to meet if you value your mental health or work-life balance at all. - Management will change your shift schedule due to "business needs" and that can mean starting hours earlier or later. - Extreme burnout VERY quickly, as you're expected to be on calls, chats, and emails with multiple clients at once. - High turnover, a few of us quit after our training period of just 3 weeks because it was THAT toxic. - Management kept referring to their team as a "family" and that's just toxic work environment 101. - Just think of it as a mental health company straight out of "Black Mirror". The CEOs are very robotic and have no business running any sort of Mental Health service (they run it like it's Google), middle management is fake and toxic, and the company mission is all about efficiency and Ai which is a weird approach to mental health in the first place.
