Pros

The studios, high profile clients and exceptional creative work. I won’t deny, that’s what drew me in to the company in the first place. The studios are beautiful and it’s a great thing to have an agency and studio in one building.

Cons

Basically everyone across the business is extremely overworked (probably apart from the senior senior people). Senior team seem nice at first then just pile on more and more work until you literally break, and have to be signed off sick from the GP (boss didn’t accept that mental ill health is a real thing). Some people in the business are nice but everyone is stressed and overworked because Spring continue to take on more projects and new clients without thinking if it’s possible to achieve. I never received any praise or thank yous for all my hard work (doing way too much for 1 person) and was consistently asked to complete tasks I wasn’t experienced enough to complete without training (there was no training in place at all). Work life balance bad as you probably will need to work overtime to cover all the work, and working overtime is built into the contract so you can’t even say no.

Pros

no experience at studio but was hired

Cons

the network there is bad compared to ROOT, P59, most people are washed and have no real connects as a photo assistant outside of the studio. Expected to do photography, but ended up doing way more events.
