Pros

- depending on what department you are in there is work life balance - monthly snack box

Cons

- Managers gaslight you - ambiguity - a lot of people in management positions that don't know what they're doing but somehow still keep their jobs - Very little or bad training - people disappear but you aren't told they left but keep being told that "so and so" handles a certain task only to find that their Slack profile has been deactivated. - Managers tell you that "you need to prove yourself" in order to get promoted by telling you to do exactly what you have been doing. Refer to first point, gaslighting. - No interdepartmental collaboration. There seems to be a hierarchy of which departments get abused and which get put on a pedestal.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry that you’re not enjoying working at Spruce. You mentioned training as an area of opportunity. Within the last quarter, we’ve added a training function and employees now receive a dedicated orientation week when they start work. It also sounds like you haven’t felt like you had great communication with your manager. You can always come to People Ops to help resolve these types of concerns -- or anything else that’s on your mind. We would love the opportunity to have this important conversation face to face. Please don’t hesitate to set up time to talk more about what you’re seeing and how we can help.
