Pros

1) Subsidized meals and workout classes 2) Full sized gymnasium and fitness facility 3) Outdoor running track 4) Fresh produce from on-site greenhouse 5) On-site dog kennel 6) Flexibility to change roles within the company if they better fit your strengths 7) Friendly and family orientated environment 8) Management takes time to listen to your concerns, goals within the company, and is very accommodating towards work-life balance 9) In my position, I feel empowered by my team members- very much a team work and supportive mentality 10) Evolving responsibilities- my team recognizes my strengths and passions and try to give me responsibilities I can apply them towards 11) Beautiful office with tons of daylight and plants and tall ceilings - improves productivity 12) Plenty of parking space 13) View of the mountains and fields

Cons

1) Benefits do not include dental, but the subsidized meals and fitness facilities and programs make up for this. 2) Not a con for many, but if you live in Calgary, it is a far drive, however you are always driving against traffic 3) Salary is not as high compared to other similar positions, however the healthy work environment and work-life balance culture make up for this. Can't put a price on happiness!

Pros

Sprung Instant Structures is a family based business over 121 years in the making... this really translates into an overall familial and familiar feeling between employees and top brass. We recently had our yearly sales meeting, which was spent 1/3 of the time learning, 1/3 on our own and 1/3 snowboarding and going to work functions. This is really the types of details, in addition to great sales compensation, that make Sprung a wonderful place to work.

Cons

The sales process is a bit long, being that we sell structures that go for 50,000 dollars to a few million. It is easy to get discouraged when you haven't made a sale in seven months, and your boss is breathing down your neck! However, the management also understands our situation, so it really lies on our own shoulders to make it happen!
