Pros

I work at the HQ based South of Calgary. It is a positive environment and very fast paced. Everyday is intensive and the company is constantly evolving processes. A person working at this company should be open to change. There is a full-size basketball court gym and fitness center within the building. Working out at lunch time is encouraged daily. There are two trainers that come four times a week that teach either Muay Thai or Cross Fit. Both trainers are registered masseuses, and anyone can book and get a massage in the onsite massage room. There is a subsidized cafeteria that serves all employees breakfast and lunch everyday. We work within a Sprung Structure which creates bright environment for all employees with natural light from the daylight panels and glazing walls.

Cons

If you live in Calgary your commute can range anywhere from 20mins to 1 hour. Driving in winter conditions on highway 2 can be nerve racking.

Pros

Sprung Instant Structures is a family based business over 121 years in the making... this really translates into an overall familial and familiar feeling between employees and top brass. We recently had our yearly sales meeting, which was spent 1/3 of the time learning, 1/3 on our own and 1/3 snowboarding and going to work functions. This is really the types of details, in addition to great sales compensation, that make Sprung a wonderful place to work.

Cons

The sales process is a bit long, being that we sell structures that go for 50,000 dollars to a few million. It is easy to get discouraged when you haven't made a sale in seven months, and your boss is breathing down your neck! However, the management also understands our situation, so it really lies on our own shoulders to make it happen!
