Pros

working from home, flexible scheduling and unlimited PTO*

Cons

*unlimited PTO means management will guilt you about it before approving it, but will also make statements like "we can afford to be selective with our new hiring candidates". all while postponing , cancelling, or just simply not showing up to regular check in meetings and stand-ups. Progression within the company is virtually non-existent. If you step up to the plate in hopes of being seen, they will make it the expectation and take issue when things are not sustainable. Employee Reviews were conducted months after they should have. This in turn also resulted in our team being blindsided by an insulting "market raise" that was less than the inflation rate. when asked about company growth plans or other issues related to employee satisfaction, direct managers will ignore or worse, string you along endlessly until you get fed up and stop asking.

Pros

Customer Success team is the best team at Squadle. Full of compassionate and helpful people who wanted to make the company and workplace better.

Cons

- When trying to start a conversation about pay equality, management said that we shouldn't be talking about it to our coworkers. We are legally allowed to discuss our wages. Managers tried to hide the pay disparity between people working the same roles. -Direct Managers and Upper management do not listen to employee concerns and actively neglect employees when they try to discuss long standing issues in the workplace -Ineffective growth plans for employees and insulting "market" raises that are less than the inflation rate -Standard start-up growth issues, but with ineffective plans to actually keep the product stable at scale. -HR is there to protect the company, and was blatantly racist towards an employee. When trying to discuss this issue with HR, it was waived off. -CS team is constantly looked down on and has their knowledge questioned even though they are the most knowledgeable of the project. When this issue was brought to management, it was waived off, was told they would "talk to them and do something" but it never went further
