      Pros

      Peers were cool and everyone was friendly and helpful.

      Cons

      I would honestly never look back. Management is a joke and complete boys club. You could count the number of women working in the microfluidics department on one hand, with high turnover. Guys get together in the breakroom on Friday to drink large quantities of alcohol and go home late. VP at the time was a pompous, narcissistic pain in the behind. Run, don't walk away. Manager wouldn't listen to me even after I complained about threats from a coworker. I should have reported it to HR and now I regret not doing so to save other women.

      Pros

      Unique Technology & Recently updated. Very good for specific applications and research. Respectable pay and benefits if you don't get RIF'd after your first few months on the job. Technology is as unique as a 3 dollar bill.

      Cons

      Company reduces workforce about every year & is owned by private equity (i.e. - Very unstable/based only on quarterly profits & not individual contributions). High Turnover so DO NOT expect a long career here. Solutions are not valuable to a majority of institutions. The majority of the target market has abandoned the technology due to poor prior experiences and will not reconsider it.
