Pros

At the surface level everyone is nice and very respectful. Individuals will tend to listen and embrace their local studio individuals. That said, once the the butterflies wear off the favoritism begins to immerse itself. Long term employees are valued over everyone else despite the many moments these individuals are wrong. Favoritism is so bad at Star that it begins to compromise project outcomes. When projects do come, not often. They're usually pretty cool assignments, however are catastrophically under scoped.

Cons

Passive aggressive bullying and undermining. Bc of favoritism towards certain studios or individuals the new employee succession is almost non-exhistent. If you work here it is a slippery slope when socializing with other employees. Sabotage can occur here often without you ever being aware. I see employees doing everything right, only for one of the favorites to spread rumors to get them fired. Work consistency is all over the place here and you are never in the loop for future work. Star feels like a perpetual bench that holds you in constant anticipation. Once a project starts all the designers are already very stressed out. The company is very short sighted on what industries to experiment with and for the most part lack serious knowledge on how to value opportunity. Stop preaching the diversity and inclusive environment, because you are failing at actually practicing employee quality and wellness. Learn how to be a global company by accepting all cultures.

Interesting projects with well known brands; hugely talented product strategy, design and engineering teams committed to delivering at their absolute best

Cons

processional services / consulting faced headwinds as did many over the last two years, but smoother waters ahead
