Pros
The pay is fine, they hire pretty smart people, work life balance is ok
Cons
The people running the company were a couple discussing everything together (why not) but they were also having troubles setting boundaries between their personal and professional life. They promoted a very young member of the family in a very important position, which set aback a number of employees since it was clear promotion would not be gained based on merit. After two months being here, I was asked to report by writing of what I was doing once a week in an email. None of the emails were taken into account or responded to with any constructive feedback. It felt I was simply mistrusted for no apparent reason. Overall, I received little to no feedback in my time here, I don't know what I was supposed to work on, as no one ever told me, apart from a helpful and more experienced colleague who took the lead for my team. The executive team never took charge of what we were doing, we were pretty much left alone to do whatever felt useful, but no direction was given.
