I work with a fantastic tight-knit team of developers and testers to produce and maintain an application we call the "Suite". It is used on production floors worldwide to manufacture and repair hearing instruments. Our application is there at every step, from the time an order arrives until it goes out the door. Order entry, design, branding, programming, testing, trouble-shooting ... everywhere. The Suite is the center of the process, tying together a variety of systems, consuming and relaying information to make the experience as seamless, painless and efficient as possible. The culture of the software development team is supported at multiple levels of management going right up to the top. They are as flexible with you and your personal life as you are with them. If you put in extra time, they will repay the favor and vice versa. I, honestly, have nothing to complain about as I have been treated very well.
