The alarm bells started from before I even accepted the role. It took over two weeks to confirm whether I had the job or not, despite being told it would be end of that week. Not a major issue, but was impossible to get hold of the team to confirm. Never received a contract or anything. Once I started, it just went from bad to worse. The owner of the company is impossible to get hold of and communicate with… the clients feel the same way. With blatant lies told to customers also. I was given no direction in my new role whatsoever apart from to go and look at some sites. I was given no projects to look at or had no briefs on any projects in the whole time I was there. Always told ‘it’s all in the head’. Eventually I was informed they were letting me go as they employed me far too soon in to the business. I was told I would receive an official email to confirm everything, but that never came. Problems started to get worse though when I was underpaid and blanked when I asked why. Including no expenses returned to me and a list of lies as to why both weren’t paid. Came to the next month and the exact same issues. With no response whatsoever.
