Really Interesting - Sales Assistant Steps To Literacy Employee Review

Pros

Casual environment with fun staff that gets along well and is always willing to help one another out. If you can't get along with your co-workers here, chances are you won't fit in many places. Some recent improvements include free drinks, free snacks, flexible time off and even a very detailed employee handbook. We recently elected one of the staff on the floor to be our version of HR so our ideas and issues don’t get filed in the trash. The recent automations in purchasing, scheduling and work order printing have also helped tremendously.

Cons

Management should accept our growing pace is the new normal and invest in extra full-time staff. It probably also wouldn't hurt if we could push back a bit on sales reps and unrealistic expectations instead of trying to pull off miracles every day; it gets hectic after a while and it would be nice to have a week where things were boring occasionally too.
