No cons to speak of

The company was in a handy place.

Certain employees received special treatment and perks while others were left struggling with extra tasks. It became obvious who was in the inner circle and who wasn't. Speaking up about it just made things worse, as favoritism seemed to be an open secret. Even when people slacked off, as long as they were favorites, they were untouchable. The atmosphere turned bitter and divided.
