Pros
People are genuinely nice and curious about how things work. You're surrounded by people from game studios, vfx, ecommerce. Everyone has such unique backgrounds and I enjoy seeing them come together to figure out the intersection of retail and virtual reality. It's still small enough where you get to know everyone and there's a variety of things you can work on. Being backed by a big company creates access to resources that a typical 30 person company would not have. If you're someone who enjoys VR development in a new context such as retail, this is an interesting place to be.
Cons
With diverse industry backgrounds everyone comes with a different approach for how to plan and execute work. This can create extra time on the front end of planning. Similar to other small companies, you are doing a wide variety of things. Some might not find this appealing. Company has shifted out of incubation and building it's core business model. Sometimes the ambiguity can be challenging.
