Pros
People are very nice and easy going. Overall friendly and diverse. Environment can be laid back, but that's not always a good thing (i.e. for productivity. ) You get to "Wear Many Hats" which is great for gaining experience but not for your salary or work life balance. PTO and Sick days roll over and accrue. Lots of Jewish Holidays, but many people will group PTO with those, so you need to plan well ahead.
Cons
-No yearly reviews or raises -Insurance is way too expensive, No 401k matching, no real HR department -Favoritism, Nepotism, Sexism, Ageism, Maternity discrimination, Toxic Masculinity and Femininity -Disorganized and lacking structure or transparency and clear communication from Upper management -Work Life balance / work hours fluctuate wildly by department or team or "Seniority" -Haphazard micromanaging when things don't seem to go well
