Management is clueless as to how to train but somehow excels at micromanaging. Arbitrary structure, weak and/or non-existent communication means job responsibilities and titles aren't clearly defined. This makes it easy for added responsibilities and “title changes” to circumvent promotions and pay increases in almost all cases.
- Sales are made by coupon. Lowest price for the win, stress and fault falls on production to deliver. I’d call it a blame cycle but it only goes down.
- Not having the staff or skillsets to do the work does not prevent them from selling it.
- Somehow, month after month trending to top line goals results in a bad year when it comes to bonus or raise time.
