Loved the people I was working with, the design team was user-centric, attentive to personal goals and career advancement ambitions

Went through some ups and downs as any typical startup does. Wish they were more transparent about company revenue projections and runway

The benefits are good. Not many start ups do 401k matching, and SU does. You get lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the lunches are really good. There is breakfast on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This isn't an amazing perk as many companies will serve you lunch every day, but the quality of the food is top notch. You get 4 weeks of vacation time, and this year (for the first time) the company is being giving the week between Christmas and New Years off. I don't know if this will continue though.

Communication and collaboration are. People, as well management, just make decisions and go with it. It results in bad decisions and bad code being pushed out that no one else knows about. This means that bugs and breaks that could have been found earlier (or avoided altogether), aren't found until later. The culture seems to be "every man for him/herself" and there isn't much teamwork.
