Unfortunately it seems that the espoused values of the organisation do not flow consistently in the various libraries, which operate quite independently from each other. Very attractive vision and values but not always widely borne out in behaviours.
Working more hours than contracted is valued here as though it is the 1980s, yet wellbeing and work life balance are buzz words.
The wish to bring wellbeing into the community needs to start with staff as well as customers.
