Cons

Work/life balance was challenging but that was a choice I made and knew I was making. It sharpened my skills and taught me how to ask the right questions of patients.

They want to pay as low as possible so they will rather hire someone for BHS job with no experience/academic background and risk their patients’ well-being, than hire someone with credentials. Every day is a ruccus with meal ordering, food allergies, etc because dietary staff is limited and they refuse to hire more staff for this. Management will ask you to come in on days you don’t work because it is always understaffed, and on days you are working you will also get a call to come in, because they are too incompetent to remember you are on the schedule. Staffing is a huge problem, and there is favoritism with employees. HR is nonexistent and will never respond to you when you have issues. Patients across the board are to attend groups that are based on 12 step when they were promised in intake something more trauma-informed. I knew many coworkers needing to take time off after working at Suncloud because its very stressful.
