Okay before the sale of the company - Information Technology Sunbelt Software Employee Review

We made great products and had fun doing it. I worked there for years before the buyout and really enjoyed the place.

Not much room to grow. It was kind of built around who you know. After the sale to GFI the whole feel of the place went sour and a lot of good people left.

the best reasons to work for Sunbelt Software include diversity of work and long term company potential as we turn away from the distribution model and become a free standing product development company. The heart of the company is the engineering organization and this has some good managers who seem intent on building a modern software engineering company.

immature organization, only a few outstanding people. Many of the key managers are not high quality leaders, and senior leadership does not have a coherent unified strategy for moving the company forward. There's too much compartmentalization and lack of transparency in management.
