Pros
Nice office setup, standing desks, and *occasional* snacks if you’re quick enough. Some genuinely great coworkers.
Cons
This was one of the most frustrating work experiences I’ve ever had. Leadership across both companies was inexperienced, inconsistent, and often out of their depth. Decisions rarely made sense and constantly changed, creating an unstable and confusing environment.
There was little to no real coaching or structured training. Onboarding was rushed and disorganized, and after that, employees were expected to figure things out on their own. Instead of developing skills, they diminished due to the lack of direction and structure.
Many employees raised concerns about management and team structure over the years, but nothing meaningful came from it. Over time, people stopped speaking up or chose to leave. Others were laid off after raising their real concerns. That is how feedback is handled at Moe’s and Sundays.. just awful company practice.
There was a clear disconnect between expectations and reality. Employees were expected to be highly engaged, in-office, and aligned with company goals, while decisions like hiring internationally to cut costs showed how little the existing team was/is valued.
Overall, employee wellbeing, growth, and feedback are not priorities. Promises made during the hiring process around development and opportunity did not reflect the reality of working there. Don’t fall for the narrative.
