Pros

Support Inc remains true to it's advertised logo of "People Helping People." Whether you are an employee, a person receiving services, or a provider, Support, Inc will provide you with the kind of help that enables you to soar! Support, Inc will patiently guide you as you build on your own strengths and develop the skills you need to reach your professional goals. The work environment is so positive and so motivating to the point where I personally believe that it is not possible for anyone to be discouraged, defeated, unhappy or angry at Support, Inc. Leadership is so innovative, smart, focused, goal-oriented, compassionate, and puts the person before all else! Supervisors are simply the best to the point where I wonder where Support, Inc finds these truly amazing human beings! Supervisors and all staff are trained in positive approaches such as Trauma Informed Leadership. You can see that every person is valued for who they are and respected for what they contribute. Employee appreciation program is pretty darn cool, and you will get to have Town Hall meetings in Colorado's most beautiful parks and be provided with plenty of opportunities to get to know your peers while enjoying dress-up dinner or happy hour! Good work simply never goes unnoticed and you will find yourself receiving star awards, gift cards, and thank you nots for the good work you do.

Cons

The RPC's salary may seem to be lower than some competitors. However, and in all fairness, the agencies that pay more also asks you to do much more to the point where you will lose focus on your main role as an RPC. At Support, Inc, an RPC's job duties are specific to monitoring residential services and supporting the PRS and their providers. Support, Inc. continues to explore means to enable the RPCs to focus on this one but crucial role and to eliminate the barriers that shift the focus. Currently, the agency is engaged in a unique initiative to make monitoring data readily available in a manner that enables the RPCs to focus on serving the person and their providers. Benefits are great. I do wish that employee contributions could be lower, yet I do know for a fact that there is no agency out there that can lower employee's deductions more than that and stay in business.

Pros

Support Inc provides services for adults with disabilities all over Colorado. The hybrid environment is amazing. The work load on my team was very manageable. There are not too many meetings for RPCs, but there’s more if you get promoted to AD. Fulfilling work. I wish I could go back to this job.

Cons

No good for extroverted people, being home all the time. Some people with IDD can have behavioral issues which can be dangerous.
