Pros

Great money when you put in the hours. You can log in at any time, work any hours, you make your schedule.

Cons

Zero communication between SupportSpace and the techs. You have a problem, no help, no email, and they will not take a phone call from you, just simply states: "wait for an email" which never comes. Just sign on one day, and you are not getting routed any more calls. No explanation, no second chance, no correspondence of any kind. When you have been cut off from calls, you continue to get the shift notification emails (to remember to log into your shift you assigned), and text messages on your phone to log in for there are people in the queue waiting. This is more than cruel, it is wrong on so many levels. Still my profile is up on both GeekSquad and SupportSpace, but still will not get any calls. 3 Weeks now and no call, no email (except to sign on **which i do, but get no calls**), nothing. Treated as if we (techs) are a disease, worthless, and/or dirt, we don't even rate an explanation, help, or a chance. Training is absent, and I can't stress enough there is NO support, worse, no word at all. Just all of the sudden you are stealth shunned, and you are a ghost. This is worse feeling in the world, you lose sleep, worry, and the very heart of rejection, yet, it looks like you are still there...... very, very bad.

Pros

Make your own hours. If you could repair 5+ computers at a time and did, you made more money than you knew what to do with.

Cons

A lot of experts would complain in the IRC chat (which is the con) that they had no clients sent to them while others were bogged with endless calls, it was biased based on ability (which is a pro). People were "decerted" and not allowed to take more calls with an off with your head type style, which left every tech nervous. They had so many techs, so many incoming calls, so much work to figure out who was cheating the system and who deserved to be paid that sometimes innocent experts had to wait for pay or were blocked from some pay needlessly. Geek Squad is gone now. There were top techs who acted like they walked on water and tortured some of the techs who were "newbies" and were not at a superior level of IT.
