Pros

Worked with some wonderful families and gained experience in teaching and curriculum

Cons

The director of the company is NOT knowledgeable about the field of education, teaching, instruction and curriculum because he has a business degree, not a degree in education or psychology or anything related to teaching. Director has very minimal teaching experience if not any experience at all. Contractors are required to train themselves on their own time and are expected to share their teaching expertise with the director. Management is sexist and racist against employees and clients..they prefer rich, well-off white clients and often scam and take advantage of most people with multiple pricing packages aimed to screw people of all their money. Tutoring in the classrooms at Suprex Learning was stressful, disorganized, lack of materials, micromanaging from management, lack of positive culture, toxic due to rat fecess and roaches everywhere.

Pros

Flexible schedule, and, unlike other tutoring companies, there is a room equipped with a white board, markers, pen and paper, calculators, and all the other things you actually need to teach. Instead of always having to go to a student's house, you can use the location. The manager is great; very flexible and helpful, and the other tutor's have a wide range of experience and are willing to answer questions and help you grow your teaching skills. Most of the clients are great to work with; all of the parents are very engaged with their child's learning and happy to work with you.

Cons

Depending on where you are, it can be out of the way, but it is usually worth it. You need to have a flexible schedule if you want to get as many hours as possible- if you restrict yourself to certain times of day you'll loose out on some hours, but it's a trade off.
