Once The Best Mold Shop....Completely Destroyed - CNC Machinist SyBridge Technologies Employee Review

Pros

Nice equipment, pay is pretty good. Most equipment is relatively new, but not kept up like the previous owner liked.

Cons

Family who owned and built the place for 25 years sold it to an American company. They destroyed the place in under two years. Never have management on the floor and floor management dont even know employee's names, night shift sleeps because nobody is watching/cares. Employees who have been there since the beginning have all left or been fired so no more technical knowledge left. Used to be able to eat your lunch off the floor it was so clean, now they save money by not having people clean. Management makes promises but I stopped holding my breath a long time ago...still waiting for the 'employee satisfaction survey results' that "HR" did two years ago...just assume they dont want to publish the results because they are so bad. Don't waste your time and come to Sybridge regardless of how good the sales pitch is.

Pros

there wasn't very many pros. they had cold filtered water and air conditioning.

Cons

the company Cavaform got bought by SyBridge Technologies and they started laying off many workers who were there for years (or even decades). leaving pretty much a skeleton crew (1 or 2 people per machining department). and they give you no warning. suddenly, in the middle of doing your work... you're called to the office and you have about 10 minutes to sign a paper, get your stuff, and leave. and they say it's due to "lack of work" i don't believe that BS. they're just "saving money" so they can keep their overpaid salaries. i evenet someone named "the vice president of business transformation". the whole company is a product sold to investors. they probably don't make or sell very much product overall. just begging for investment
