Pros

Some colleagues were sharp and nice, but already left the company.

Cons

The culture is getting more toxic. Since some colleagues left the one and two stars reviews here (which I consider as fair comments and the right issues to fix). The management tried to investigate and condemn whom shared those and demanded to have them deleted. While asking new joiners and HR to share 5 stars review to cover those up. It is frustrating to see management in denial rather than solving the problem. People also get stressed and frustrated since departments and names would got called out and publicly criticised. We used to have the option to submit anonymous Q&A to the top, but since too many questions and doubt, this channel is shut by requiring all questions need to be submitted with names and no one dare to speak up any more.

Pros

- Great and convenient office - Team bonding sports activities (after work) - Fun opportunity to work on financial products that are popular and well used by Singaporeans. - A recognized brand within Singapore's fintech industry that will continue growing even more. - An honest organization that values client investments and treats money right. - Amazing hardworking peers who support you and make things fun despite the toxic culture. - Good benefits. Half day off for Mental health day. 1 week work from anywhere policy, dental and medical benefits, upskilling benefits. No dependent coverage.

Cons

- Extremely toxic culture. Unlike a large corp where you can escape the noise, the toxicity here is unavoidable. The politics are draining, and you’ll watch colleagues shift their entire personalities just to please CXOs. Leadership is quick to shift blame and throw you under the bus when things go sideways. - CEO’s personal perception of you matters, not your outcomes. He decides who is "good" or "bad," and that constant silent judgment dictates your growth and job security. - The leadership in Marketing, Product and Design has been a revolving door since late 2024. The constant cycling of Heads of Departments leaves those teams in total chaos. Don't expect mentorship; expect to survive on your own. - Those who have a family, beware. Commitment is measured by "optical overtime." If you aren't staying late just to be seen, you are labeled as insufficient. - Leadership preaches "culture", but it’s purely transactional. It’s an investment banking mindset where you are a line item, not a person. It won't change because the tone is set at the very top. Company doesn't care about retaining people which makes it hard for the team on the ground to pick up pieces. - There’s a quote on the Singapore office wall: "Pressure is a privilege." It isn't. It is just a cover for a toxic environment. You don’t realize it until you are out of the system. Think twice if you value your mental health.
