Pros

Pay good, free soda/pizza/coffee all nice, product and market potential tremendous, many good people.

Cons

Poor executive management alignment and direction: Frequent strategy changes with poor communication strategy so alignment never achieved. 2 key integrity mistakes: 1) Low EQ management behavior has been tolerated in front of teams creating fear and silence from everyone else, and 2) making public statements about equity/profit-sharing as well as no impending layoffs before breaking both promises shortly after. Agile direction touted but then delegated like its something for the "teams only" (you can't be agile without management involvement and understanding; the recent changes losing some of our best agile people won't help either). Cultural cons of working here have been visible for a long time but continue to be dismissed as "that's just the opinion of " [insert name of someone you don't trust or understand]. Summation: Trust and Fear problems.
