Pros

They had good coffee creamer in the breakroom. That's about it.

Cons

It is quite simply the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of knowing and working at. My mental and physical health declined in the one year I had to put up with this dumpster fire of a company. Upper management is incredibly arrogant and rude unless you're in the good ole boy club. Work from Home was promised to me in my interview as COVID was rampant and as I lived an hour away from the plant. This ended up being a lie and I had to literally beg management to give me 1-4 days of WFH when I absolutely could not come in (taking care of family affairs/appointments close to home) while other employees in my team could come and go as they pleased without a care in the world. It was me and maybe 5-6 other employees in the office for months until upper management in Canada started pressing people to come back to the office. No training was available when I started. No outline of what my duties and expectations were until almost 7-8 months into working here!! Most of the office, including my boss, didn't even come into the office until 3-4 months into my career here. I got maybe 30-45 minutes a day of help when the former employee who I eventually took over his job hopped on a call with me to show me what he was doing after I asked to be included more. Besides that, I asked for help and if I could do anything, and I was told "you're doing fine. Nope, we're good." Ended up sitting at my desk for 3 months doing nothing except watching movies! They try to operate on just-in-time inventory but as we've seen the past year, you cant do JIT anymore due to supply chain issues. It would become my problem if I ordered a product for something 5-6 months ago and it was stuck at the port. They also have so many products they make and literally nowhere to keep inventory. Pallets and drums are stuck here there and everywhere. They need to build another warehouse area but they probably won't. The work environment is outright toxic due to management and office/production staff. Walked in on management and fellow employees talking bad and making jokes about me behind my back when they thought I wasn't there, on speakerphone for the whole office to hear. The whole plant and offices are OLD AND DISGUSTING! Water-stained walls and carpets, dying plants, 1980s-90s furniture and equipment laying around. Dirty bathrooms and an old and unsafe plant working on old outdated equipment. If you wanted to know what an office building from the 90s looked like, just step inside this old time capsule. They wouldn't allow an office or plant walkthrough during my interviews due to COVID. However, they have continued this tactic as a way to prevent people from seeing the inside. ERP system they refuse to update is from 1984. Its AS400 style which means no one living beside the few old-timers working there knows how it operates. No training manual or documents exist to help you figure it out either. You have to teach yourself how the system works. Don't listen to their lies of updating it either. They have been talking that talk for 15+ years and it's completely untrue due to their cheapness. They can't keep track of what's being used, what's allocated and what's coming in/going out. ERP system is so inaccurate and would show you had what you needed for months until one day you would run a bill of materials and all your material is charged off because "someone a few months ago never did their charges". I should have listened to my gut feeling after the interview, and not accepted the job offer. Do not accept any job at this place, as you will quickly regret it. Avoid this place like it's the plague!
