Pros

There is a reason I worked for TCG as long as I did. TCG is a family-oriented environment, with a fantastic core team. Management is very flexible when it comes to family or personal matters, while focusing on what's best for their clients. TCG provides tools for you to grow and advance your skillset as a technician, if you put the work in. It's a great place to keep building on your knowledge in an open team environment. Both the helpdesk team & management are always there to help - you are never left without some sort of help or advice. The top clients are fantastic and personable to work with; that was the best and most gratifying part of the job.

Cons

As another review mentioned, employees need to be better vetted. Need a more present Team Lead role; it can get frustrating with the lack of true leadership. Documentation and processes for all to follow would help with collaboration and organization. Although the flexibility with personal/family issues is very generous, some people take advantage of it and it rolls downhill. Need to have employees take more accountability.

Pros

- Can survive COVID lockdowns, miraculously. - Great opportunities for menial tasks! - Extremely unprofessional to the point where you might actually get away with smack talk within earshot of employees and they just sort of accept it's a feature of the company environment. So go ahead, be a the most unlikable person possible.

Cons

- You will be called the 'f-ing new guy' (FNG for short, no this isn't a joke) by the management. This will also come with the same office etiquette that is similar to how it was 40 years ago. - You will be yelled at by everyone and your intelligence will be insulted. - All mistakes will be pinned on you and that will be enough to get you a nice 'short term' employment here that isn't worth putting on any resume. - Workload from day one is overwhelming, despite being super easy. You will be stretched far too thin and it will somehow be your fault. If you attempt to suggest how to make any process better, you will be ignored or yelled at even more.
