Pros

great people, feels like a close-knit family. fairly small so you get to work on different things. interesting clients.

Cons

salaries are usually on the lower side, from my experience. seems like a good place if you're new in the business or if you've had a decent run already. but once you hit that middle stage ... they just lack proper mentoring. a few projects are usually put on quick timeline, meaning the creative doesn't always get the space it could use. sometimes they think more like the prod.house they used to be rather than the agency they now are.

Pros

Some of the best parts about working at Teak include; being able to work on a variety of creative projects (never boring!), wearing a lot of different hats which allows for challenge and growth, and working with some really talented individuals in a collaborative environment. I also met a lot of great colleagues at Teak and still call some of them friends. Overall, I gained a ton of experience!

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Teak are basically what you'd expect working at any small creative business in San Francisco; the challenge to compete from a compensation and benefits standpoint compared to larger organizations, lack of life and work balance, and the risk of burnout.
