Pros
Trauma bonding with others. The PEOPLE are the best part, and the only thing that gets you through. Although, most of the good ones have left now.
Cons
No flexibility, having to make doctors calls in office etc. Coffee and lunch prices are not cheap when you have to go in 5 days a week. No parking really past 8am. Everyone is under 30 years old it seems, so you have very young managers fresh out of uni. They pay execs the same as graduates… Most people have left now due to the toxic environment which means the rest of the people are doing 6 peoples work on very little money. You won’t ever get a bonus, or salary increase so don’t ask about that. People are quitting with no job to go to. Oh, and if you need to WFH for an emergency or you’re not well or your cars broken etc.. you have to take ANNUAL LEAVE. Meaning your mental health will decline as you use all your holiday for silly things. They’re constantly trying to beat sales from COVID…when everyone worked from home…hmm maybe let people work from home a bit more then? Being in 5 days a week creates a toxic environment where you get gossip etc. not good! you won’t last long here, so maybe don’t bother.
