Pros

Great Company (London Drugs), Very employee focused, and client centered. The CustomWorks team is a fantastic group of dedicated professional people that truly care about their clients, team members and the quality/pride that goes into the projects that they are apart of. Competitive compensation, great benefits, and a caring Management and HR team that actually cares about the employees. There is a very good culture here, the team members look out for one another, and are very respectful of others. I have worked for many other AV companies, and there is really something special about this team. No revolving door here, mostly long term employees, even at the entry level positions. There is a confidence about approaching large projects, with the support of Big Brother (London Drugs) and having an IT partner in house (TLD Computers), the sky is the limit with the CustomWorks Team. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this company, and I can say this is the first time ever I have been able to say this about any company that I have worked for.

Cons

Large organization, so change can take a while to happen. CustomWorks is fairly new into the Corporate AV game, so there has been some growing pains along the way. BUT, the key word here is growing. While a lot of other AV companies are laying people off, or closing their doors, this organization is growing.

Pros

-Good work environment -They will give you meaningful responsibility even as a entry level engineer

Cons

-They are overly concerned with cutting cost and this puts a damper on the technological advancement of their products -They grossly under compensate their employees. Like I said, its a place to start, and get experience, but you're better off not staying more than a couple years at most.
