      Pros

      Can expect work-life balance, if you can find a good PI/lab in TLL. Meanwhile, NTU/NUS provide much better and open environment for research

      Cons

      The HR couldn't care less about employee's benefits or well-being. Sometimes they can be quite manipulative. Be careful when dealing with them! Management has become too powerful, sometimes can be irresponsive and rude.

      Pros

      Most TLL staff are excellent and supportive. They are always willing to help each other and continuously share technical knowledge and skills with newcomers.

      Cons

      Limited drawbacks observed, as the working environment is generally cooperative and supportive.
