Pros

- Most of your coworkers are supportive and great people. - Experience I guess?

Cons

Management (mainly GM and ASM) aren't people you can rely on. They are quick to pass the blame, and expect a lot from staff though the job is minimum wage (or just above). This job is not complicated, but be prepared for every task to seem like an extensive ordeal that needs the eyes of multiple people in charge. Location to location management differs, but one thing that stays the same in my experience is the problem with ethics and policy. This is not a place you can grow. Ask the people who have been there for several years in the same role. This is not a place that supports employees. Ask the folks outside of management who don't have health benefits or 401k benefits. Not saying its not tolerable, but that is all it is. Integrity matters in any business.

Pros

- manageable work load - nice work environment

Cons

- management - was paid less than new hires with less qualifications for same position - putting more requirements in place with no raise in compensation - had gotten certified to become trainer, spoke with manager and had gotten job offer for personal training , then due to short staffing had to stay at front desk for 5 months, and was never given opportunity to train despite given confirmation of offer for next few months. Although most companies reimburse employees for certification, I spent my own money in order to pursue the career and then was lead on by management, reassuring over and over again they would take care of it. Then, had quit in order to pursue further employment. - very demoralizing in terms of work environment
