Pros
If you try to learn as much as you can, this company can be a great stepping stone to another job.
- Small office, less than 20 people. This can be good and bad, but it worked for me because I was able to take on more projects and learn more.
- Everyone gets their own office to shut the door - no cubes.
- You get to work with some big companies and get experience on the phone with renewals, new sales, cold calling, etc.
Cons
- Lots of micromanagement. Boss will walk up and down the hall to peek in on you.
- Taking time off is looked down upon in a big way. You'll only get 10 vacation days and 5 days of "discretionary time," which you must take for doctor's appointments, funerals, sick days, etc. It's very minimal.
- The pay is extremely low for the role and the average in Dallas.
- There is a culture of "if it's not broken, don't fix it." Lack of innovation left me feeling numb and like I was just going through the motions many days.
- No formal HR department or rep.
