Working in Teleperformance was a nightmare - Customer Service Representative TP Employee Review

Pros

Getting paid on time - which is only relevant when you are working in countries like Greece.

Cons

Managers think that screaming at their agents while they are working will make them more productive. They also think that if they make the bonus performance schemes unattainable nobody is going to be demoralized. The working conditions in some of the departments i have worked within Teleperformance were those of a Galleon, your workload is getting constantly increased and your superiors treat you like a statistic and not like a real person. If you are very productive (fast handling time/ taking lots of calls) you are never going to be promoted since they want keep their numbers steady. However if you are doing everything that you are not supposed to do, like fight with customers/shout at them you are probably going to end up as a supervisor.

Pros

My group of supervisors and our manager work really well together. The upside of this company is the ability to work from home and the support you are given is better than most places I have worked.

Cons

this can only be said for my project as we do not always have a clear path of what the upper management is looking for us to do

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
