Pros

At least they paid you and some managers really tried to be good.

Cons

How long do we have? Base salary was bad, bonus structure changed all the time, massive turnover in staff. In an average week someone quit. Two or even three people leaving in a week would not be unusual. The project I worked on would need to recruit 120 people a year to staff 40 positions. The training was two rushed weeks of constant classroom instruction. Very poor and boring. Then onto the job. Technical problems from the start, internet, computers, Salesforce, you name it. Daily targets changed constantly. 30 calls, no 40 calls!, forget that, don't care as long as you send a contract....NO 30 calls! The information we were given about the product changed all the time as well. So as soon as you had learned a process or a detail about the product it was useless. Bonus system changed on a nearly monthly basics. In one memorable instance the team was gather together to be informed of a new bonus system...which was scrapped at the end of the same meeting. Eventually, months into the project a bonus system was implemented that made a positive impact, that motivated people to want to work. The project had a record breaking month. The bonus system was immediately scrapped and a new one with the opposite effect was implemented. Perks like Spanish classes which we were promised never came about despite constant asking. Moral was rock bottom and stayed that way. Very soon people stopped turning up or were "sick" for sometimes months on end. Weekly one to ones would sometimes devolve into the team leaders crying and telling you they were sorry for everything and knew it was a mess but there was nothing they could do. I can honestly say I could not recommend someone to work for Teleperformance in good conscience.

Pros

The hiring process was quick and efficient. During onboarding for my initial position, the equipment arrived on time and setup was straightforward. As a seasonal Medicare Sales Agent working through a third-party vendor, I appreciated the opportunity to gain industry experience. While my role was limited due to the seasonal nature of the position, it strengthened my customer service, sales, and communication skills. It increased my interest in pursuing a long-term career in healthcare and insurance.

Cons

Transitioning to a new role within the company was extremely frustrating. After my seasonal assignment ended, I spent approximately five months attempting to move into another campaign. I accepted a position in December and attended multiple technical checks, but the equipment issues were never resolved. Rather than providing updated equipment, repeated attempts were made to use older equipment that was not functioning properly. Because I was still tied to the pending position, I was unable to apply for other opportunities within the company until the role was officially closed and the equipment returned. After several technical checks went unresolved, I ultimately decided to stop pursuing additional roles with the company.
