Run away from this company BEWARE - Real Estate Agent TRELORA Employee Review

Trelora is all around a pretty good place to work. In looking at some of the other reviews, the culture must vary a bit based on location. My team is pretty diverse and pretty much all of the managers in my location are female, which is empowering to see! The office is in a pretty cool location, but everywhere around it is expensive, so getting lunch out is hard to afford to do often. Probably the best thing about being here is getting to have a long lasting impact on the people who buy or sell their home with Trelora. It feels good to have clients get excited about having a good experience and saving a ton of money, especially with how crazy expensive houses can be. The day to day work is fun enough, but its the teammates and camaraderie that make it a place I'm happy to be

It seems like because Trelora is so focused on charging people less money, there is also less money for employees. Part of the reason to be at Trelora is to help save people money, but it means that I'm making less than some other agents would but at least I get benefits and PTO which I have not gotten at other places. Also when it is really busy, especially at the peak of summer it can get really hard to manage the workload and still have a life. If you are fan of being outside in the summer, this is not a good fit.

Remote work. That’s is it.

Low pay, poor benefits and a joke of a bonus structure. You’re expected to work 24/7 but they lie and say we value off time and offer unlimited pto. Still had to answer work calls and emails while off. There is no coverage for you if you try to use pto. Received quite rude emails from mgmt while off, about work despite being approved off and on the calendar. There’s no work life balance. They’ll say upon hire it’s a 40 hour a week job, but really you end up working 65+ hours per week, and they won’t pay overtime. They say they aren’t traditional real estate but then expect you to work weekends and evenings and constantly be glued to your devices. If you’re not because you actually have a life outside of work to manage, then you’re accused of not working. There’s absolutely NO respect for if you’re sick, disabled or for any of your scheduled off time. This place is full of Micromanagement, favoritism and backstabbing colleagues. Management is unethical and will manipulate the numbers. They say we’ll never ask you to do XYZ.. and then turn around and do just that. If you hesitate they will make up reasons to get rid of you. Find a company that values their employees because this one isn’t it!
