Pros
A leadership team which promotes work/life balance, cares about quality of life, and (most of all) is there for the employees. Most companies say all this during the interview process, but Table XI lives and breathes it. Case in point - just one month after I started, I had to take three weeks off for medical reasons. The staff at TXI were supportive and patient throughout this entire period. I had amazing help from HR, from my manager, and from team-mates. More than that, I had support from co-workers who I hadn't even worked with! People offering to bring me home-cooked meals, do grocery store runs, and drive me to/from appointments. It was amazing. As a transition is planned from a flat org-chart, senior leadership is devoting significant time to work with employees to develop a plan that will provide leadership in a way that benefits employees. Managers who are there for the people they manage! The company also devotes a significant amount of time on issues outside of core engineering. The best example of this is work done for DEIB. Turnover is pretty low at TXI (compared to other tech companies), and I totally know why. TXI shares many of my own core values when it comes to "who I want to work with", "who I want to work for" and "how can I help the community", I can't imagine working for a more honest and open team.

There really are no cons.
