Some nice people but not great work and poor work ethic - Anonymous employee Tag Games Employee Review

Poor pay Relied on people new to the industry and desperate for games jobs being willing to accept low wages. This has the impact of a low experience team being loosely held together by a couple of longer-standing employees but this puts a huge amount of pressure on senior staff. Raises were virtually unheard of and only happened when people would threaten to leave. Management did not listen to even senior employees and provided little support or attempts to engage with staff on issues. Unpaid overtime was common, expected and attempts by employees to have this addressed were brushed off. Project results were poor even on bigger IPs - work for hire is the only way this company stays afloat but hasn't produced a single noteworthy success in it's entire history. Recent history of layoffs, unpaid wages, lack of raises, lack of professional development resulted in many good (and previously very loyal) employees leaving. You will not make any kind of name for yourself working here and your work will not be particularly appreciated.
