Pros

Leniency, flexibility, and hybrid schedule. Good money.

Cons

Leadership is inconsistent and largely ineffective. There is a pattern of avoiding problems instead of solving them, limited operational knowledge at the leadership level, and frequent runarounds when employees seek guidance. Many leadership roles seem to be filled based on timing rather than capability, which negatively impacts structure, accountability, and employee trust.

Pros

Tapcheck is a fast-growing company with a strong product and a team that’s committed to building something meaningful. One of the biggest advantages of working here is the opportunity to expand beyond your core role. If you’re proactive and take ownership, there’s real potential to grow into new functions, take on additional responsibility, and build a broader skill set. The company gives employees visibility into different parts of the business, which creates opportunities for internal mobility and career progression. People who consistently deliver and step up tend to be recognized when they make an impact. Like many scaling companies, processes and structure are continuously evolving, but that also creates space for individuals to make an impact and shape their own path. Overall, it’s a strong environment for someone who wants to grow quickly, contribute across functions, and take advantage of upward mobility in a company that’s continuing to scale.

Cons

As a growing company, some processes and internal structures are still evolving, which can occasionally lead to ambiguity - which is expected in a startup. Communication across teams can sometimes require extra coordination as the company continues to scale.
