Pros

The folks who have been with TargetSpot for a long time genuinely want to drive results and succeed, but the lack of knowledge and direction by oversees management makes it impossible.

Cons

The company exists in a crowded space with large B2C competitors but still sees themselves on an even playing field. The company transitioned to completely Belgian management in 2017 and there’s a complete divide and lack of knowledge of the US advertising and digital media landscape. Sales Management has no sales, advertising, or media experience and manages a team of senior sellers in the space. People here also hold grudges and create a toxic work environment for such a small company. Their internal negativity is the reason they can’t break out of their dysfunction. Droves of people have left the company’s 2018-2019 and none have been replaced, resources just keep getting stretched or pushed and outsourced to an untrained Belgian office.

Pros

There are some great people with really strong knowledge. This is a growing industry with a lot of growth. Casual environment where everyone gets along.

Cons

They don't pay market value. Sales salaries are way disproportionate to the rest of the company. C- level management is very disconnected from the reality of the mental health of the employees. Little to no opportunity for growth and no recognition. Thankfully Director and VP levels are very knowledgeable and interested in employees growth, but have little or no input with C-level. There were Co-Ceo's that were very inefficient and think they set the company back a couple of years.
