Pros

Some very friendly, and fun people at this organization. Product is good not great.

Cons

Product is losing its slight edge in a crowded market. Poor compensation even for entry sales. Sales leadership means well but is not ideal to learn from. When I joined, the job listing had major lies. Compensation (OTE) was unrealistic with a very poor commission structure. Base pay was also lower for a few months when hired. PTO was not available for months after being hired (but was on job listing).

Pros

Team Engine has been one of the best career moves I’ve made. The culture is incredible—everyone is kind, collaborative, and genuinely wants to see you succeed. It’s a smaller company, which actually works to your advantage: you have the freedom to own your process, and you’re empowered with everything you need to do your job well. The CEO and leadership team are highly accessible and supportive. You can reach out to anyone—from your manager to the execs—and be heard. Ideas are welcomed and often implemented quickly, which is refreshing and motivating. The pay is very generous and highly competitive, especially for the size and stage of the company. The benefits are solid too.

Cons

Like any sales role, the leads can be tough at times—you do have to work to earn a demo. That said, I’ve never had a sales job where every prospect was eager and ready to buy, so let’s be real. Team Engine gives you a list, tools, and strategy—you just have to execute. Some of the older reviews mention issues around leads and pay, but it’s clear the company restructured a lot post-COVID, and things have significantly improved.
