Pros

free drinks, free fruit once a week, food trucks that come out a couple times a week

Cons

the cons started when the consultants came in. they got rid of the leadership and replaced them with people that commute from different timezones. the managers that commute in are there usually half the week or sometimes biweekly. they brought in morning stand ups that usually take over 30 minutes of the first part of your morning and preach about driving in sales when time is being wasted with a standup. after the standup, you're forced to do a mandatory role play in a sales situation that never happens because management has decided to discount the product by 75%. they decreased pay for all new hires and forced those that made "too much money" out of the company, so anyone that was there before them was no longer welcome. the managers never stood up for their employees because they feared they would get fired. there was plenty of favoritism and those that management did not like would be attacked in meetings. they focused on turning things into a call center and forced reps to make a certain amount of outbound calls a day to lists of leads that were not effective or good quality. marketing often fought against sales by stealing renewal profits and sales. they would often run a campaign to people that purchased a license at full price, so your customer would reach out to you angry asking why they didnt get the discount, and yes...you had to give them the discount which made you lose money as a rep. even with all the outrageous campaigns, the sales targets would stay the same or even get higher! there were months were top reps were not close to target and they were punished because of it. they even forced the remaining reps to sign a non compete which is outrageous for reps making entry level pay to do. if you didnt want to sign it, there's the door. and if that's not all enough, get used to the managers hovering around your work area demanding you make more calls even if you just got finished with one. they don't care if you leave, because they will find someone at a job fair to replace you. they also claim to do background checks but they hired someone with a sexual record who exposed himself to employees. there's no room for advancement either so don't bother asking management. you're there to clock in, pound out calls, then clock out.
