Pros

Good trip incentives which can be hit monthly

Cons

Where do I start.... - Real hire and Fire business, if you face doesn't fit you will be out regardless of your ability. It is cliche but its a revolving door and I saw more people leave this business then anywhere else I have been. - Career development is based on whether they like you not based on results at all. - Very selfish business, senior management are very self obsessed and do not care about their staff or their learning but about what cars they are buying and how much they spend on themselves - They still think recruitment is in the 90s, training is old at best, thats if you are lucky to get anything meaningful - Employees do not have a voice, its like a dictatorship, if you are the first to leave you are looked down upon - Your ideas are never taken on board because you are lower down the food chain so do not matter - The directors think they are in their own version of wolf of wall street which is laughable - You are taught to lie to candidates and take advantage of clients not ethical at all. If you question it you are out of the door and made to feel like rubbish. - The directors claim to be FIRP on their email signatures when its easily confirmed that they are not tells you all you need to know about their honesty and integrity.

Pros

TechNET is a fantastic place to build a career in recruitment. The team is supportive, collaborative, and always willing to share insights to help each other succeed. The leadership is genuinely invested in your growth and development, offering training and clear pathways for career advancement. In three and a half year with the company I have made the journey from Recruitment Consultant to head of the exec search practice because the reward hard work, recognise potential, and support career development. The culture is one of the standout features—everyone is approachable, friendly, and passionate about their work. The company really values its employees, offering flexibility and an excellent work-life balance. There are also regular team-building events, which make it a fun place to work.

Cons

As with any recruitment role, the work can be demanding, especially during peak hiring periods. The targets can be tough, but they are also achievable with the right attitude and support. Some roles require a lot of multitasking and organisation, which can be overwhelming at times, but that’s part of the challenge.
