Pros
There is plenty of work to do and they will keep you busy, no matter what team you are on. If you are lucky and get saddled with one of the great groups, you'll enjoy the company of the people in your department. This applies to most departments but be careful because it is not the case with all departments!
Cons
The leadership team is impulsive and has favorites that run the show. If you are not on that list, you may not enjoy the ride. The benefits have fallen to be a bit lack-luster compared to what was offered just a few years ago, but it's been a quiet retraction effort driven by one or two politically backed players. Be aware that what you fall in love with today could quickly be gone tomorrow.
