      A toxic environment, treated like children - Web Designer Tecture Employee Review

      Pros

      Project diversity was good, so had opportunity to learn about new businesses and create unique solutions for client goals. I liked the employees that I worked with.

      Cons

      The pay was low. Employees would openly talk to one another about the low salaries and basically commiserate over them. "Bonuses" were cheaper gift cards or gifts, but never something monetary that was useful. The CEO, Ben Rowland, was a terrible presence in the office. He openly battled with employees, sometimes screaming at them. It felt like he was nice to people when he wanted something from them. It was quiet there. It was often silent like a graveyard. Not a lot of energy. Reviews never happened with any consistency. You have to ask multiple times to get one.

      Tecture is an exciting, dynamic software and web development company working on many interesting, exciting, and challenging projects. I see little point in rebutting each item of this "review" line-by-line. Suffice it to say this does not accurately represent me, Tecture, or my relationships with our staff and clients.

      Pros

      There were a lot of really interesting projects, ranging from finance, music, healthcare, and more. We had a lot of liberty to be creative and inventive in our solutions and designs, and were able to try out new technologies. I was interested in Angular and was able to attend a conference. The coworkers were also good and fun.

      Cons

      There was a rough patch, which might explain the poor reviews. I think things will be better moving forward.

      Pros

      None, unless you want to include the bare minimum things that the leadership does.

      Cons

      Tecture's rude and disrespectful leadership is hated by most, if not all, of the employees in this company. The CEO and most of the leadership are horrible people who treat employees like trash. They have no respect and no care for our well-being. The salary here is terrible as well.
