Pros

1. Terminal trusts their employees. You will have a ton of autonomy to create the perfect work-life balance. If you need to take a mid-day appointment, this will never be turned down and often times if you can slip out quickly, you don't even need to mention it at all. They trust their employees to work hard and do not monitor your activity. 2. With tech comes lots of perks. Uber Eats, wellness stipend, phone and wifi allowance. 3. Great leadership team. You can tell they are working hard.

Cons

1. Job security - there have been a few layoffs 2. Culture is just okay. Being completely remote, they do online events sometimes but they are few and far between and not much effort is put into them. There was an opportunity to travel for team bonding meetups but outside of the daily meetings, it was just a drinking fest. There weren't any activities planned. 3. Not much room for growth. During my time there, it wasn't often employees were promoted into new roles. But it did happen. Not a con but more of a comment: As someone who was affected by layoffs, I came across an article written by Terminal being promoted on LinkedIn about how to best manage layoffs. Many of the tips were not what I or my colleagues experienced during layoffs (i.e. Warn employees about layoffs before hand, conduct exit interviews, if you are a manager, reach out to those impacted). I thought it was odd they were aiming to be a thought-leader with tips they did not use themself. That being said, overall I did not feel the layoffs were mishandled.

Pros

I enjoyed working with the team a lot. Filled with smart and capable people. Everyone took care of their business. I felt like we were regularly making good decisions and taking positive steps for the company.

Cons

There were some blurry lines between departments, and because of that, sometimes communication broke down a little, and work did not end up being implemented in the same way.
