Pros

Termius has only positive aspects to add to your career. A data-driven team with all policies in place from the inside out. Termius team pushes you to think outside of the box, to excel in diverse aspects that only an engaging environment can provide. The leadership team shows determination in sharing the company's objectives across all levels while encouraging open communication.  Upper management invests in top hardware/software for staff to have access to the latest technology available. All departments are respectful, kind, patient which makes new staff feel welcome. The good first impression they give us only grows over time.

Cons

Pros

- Robust developing cycle - Fully remote - Chance to work on production Electron app - Free laptop

Cons

- They firing people in one day, without noticing in advance, so if they don't like you in the first place, you're gonna be working until they decided to drop you one day. - No work/life balance, they force you to dig into weird bugs from the first day, expecting you to finish it quickly - Need quite a lot of time to understand how project structured and how all pieces tight up together, you never saw a React project structured like this, I assure you. - Crazy fast development cycle, when each particular day you should prepare video demonstration of the work you've done for today as well as prepare demo build and docs. - No bug or feature is documented properly, every ticket you take you'll need to do investigation before going to work on it. The most crazy part, I've never seen something like this before - No management, or QA support, developer is responsible for everything on the project: - Create and lead Jira board for your features - Leading designer, PM - Organize all related meetings - Write QA checklists and do manual test cases - Do risk assessments - Don't forget to check others PR in the mean time ( should be reviewed in the first day it's opened) So basically you're gonna do work for 3 people (PM, QA and dev) and you'll be force to do it quickly or they will just fire you.

Pros

Help with relocation to NZ after 3 months

Cons

The processes within the company are poorly structured despite claiming to be an established startup. From day one, you’re overloaded with tasks without adequate guidance or support. Often tasks have to be redone due to lack of clarity and communication, yet employees are blamed for slow progress. There’s a severe lack of respect for work-life balance. Higher-ranking colleagues act superior, expecting unquestioning compliance, and expressing independent opinions is strongly discouraged. Also there’s a critical lack of structure and management support. Developers are forced to handle responsibilities far beyond coding, including task management in Asana, conducting meetings, creating QA checklists, manual testing (after each iteration of PR). You’re essentially doing multiple roles simultaneously, under constant pressure to deliver quickly, risking termination if you fail to meet unrealistic expectations.
